MISHANI EXTREME

“The $6K National Sale pick that took off.”

The Kobayashi Colt

At the 2024 Magic Millions Gold Coast National Yearling Sale, Glenn found a colt very late in the sale that he rated very highly on pedigree.

By unfashionable sire - Kobayashi out of an unfashionable Dam-sire - Jet Spur, this colt was a first foal out of a 7-time winning dam with some nice black-type through the family.

Glenn watched the sale online and was hoping to steal the colt very cheap. The first bid came in at $2k. Glenn bid $4k and a counter bid of $6k came in.

The colt got knocked down at $6k to Mishani Racing, who obviously knew the family well.

The Pedigree

This colt stood out with his pedigree crosses, which included several champions through his 7-generations.

What did Glenn see in this pedigree … have a look at the colours and you might get an insight!

Mishani Racing sent the colt to Donna Stanbridge to race.

Mishani Extreme’s current race record as of August, 2026 is 16 starts for 3 wins and 3 placings. He has already earned over $140,000 in prizemoney alone.

Not bad for a $6k purchase!
