2024 Tasmania Yearling Sale - Glenn spots a colt out of First Season Sire - Levendi on breeding. Out of a reasonably unfashionable Reset dam, there is a lot about this colt that Glenn really liked!

Unable to attend the sale, Glenn phoned and spoke with a Magic Millions Bloodstock Agent (who shall remain nameless) to inspect the horse for him…

The agent calls Glenn back after the inspection and says quote: “He’s too small - don’t waste your money.”

Looking up the pedigree, Glenn was in shock to see that it was the same Levendi colt from the Tasmania Yearling Sale.

He had just won a $150k 3YO BM78 race and his racing career stats at that time were: 7 starts, 3 wins, 2 placings and earnings of just over $100,000.

Not bad for a “scrawny & ugly looking” $5k purchase!

Watching the horse go through the ring online, he was knocked down at auction for $5,000 to an owner associated with Patrick Kearney Racing.
