State of Rest x High Hostess Filly

Trainer: Clayton Douglas (Warrnambool)

We are delighted to offer a strictly limited share in this exciting daughter of State Of Rest, to be trained by leading Victorian horseman Clayton Douglas at Mornington.

State Of Rest was one of the world's most versatile racehorses, winning at the highest level across three countries. His Group 1 victories included the Cox Plate at Moonee Valley and the Saratoga Derby in the United States, highlighting both his class and adaptability.

Out of a dam by High Chaparral, this filly possesses the physical strength and athleticism we look for when assessing young thoroughbreds. She has developed exactly as we'd hoped and continues to give every indication she will furnish into a strong, competitive racing prospect.

One of the major attractions of the family is its durability and scope. The filly has a lovely action, a sensible temperament and is progressing through her education in a manner that suggests there is plenty to look forward to over the coming months.

Importantly, fillies offer investors two opportunities to win. Success on the racetrack can be followed by residual broodmare value, creating a potential asset beyond their racing career.

She will be trained by Clayton Douglas, whose Mornington operation continues to produce outstanding results. Clayton needs little introduction, having established himself as one of Victoria's premier trainers with a reputation for patience, horsemanship and placing horses to advantage.

This filly represents an exciting opportunity to become involved in a young horse with genuine upside while joining a passionate ownership group that will be closely involved in every stage of her journey.

A limited 5% share is currently available.
