At the 2017 Gold Coast Yearling Sale, a colt by Medaglia D’Oro out of a Distorted Humor dam named Gaudeamus was sold as Lot 45 on the account of Element Hill.
Boasting Black-type throughout the pedigree, the colt was purchased by Riversley Park/Enigma Farm, NZ for $120k. The colt was onsold at the 2YO Ready To Run sale in NZ to Hong Kong buyer Mr F.Lui for $300,000.
Whilst Lui had to fork out quite a bit to purchase the colt, he just got his hands on one of (if not the best) bred horses ever seen!
Named Golden Sixty, this colt would put a stamp on the world map - the likes of which have never been seen.
