Sales Selections
In the 2019 Adelaide Yearling Sale, I selected a colt by Manhattan Rain out of a Flying Spur dam Daily Flyer. He sold to Leon Macdonald for $80k. That colt ended up becoming Manhatten Times, who won over $300k in prizemoney.
In the 2021 Adelaide Yearling Sale, my only selection of the sale was a colt by Wandjina x Voltara. Sold to Will Clarken for $50k, I waited too late to get involved. That colt ended up becoming champion Hong Kong galloper - Galaxy Patch, who has now won over $6million in prizemoney.
In the 2023 Great Southern Sale, I purchased a weanling colt by Rubick x Scandimania for $1.5k to pinhook as a weanling. The colt sold for $22.5k at the Adelaide Yearling Sale, so I did ok, however the buyer ended up pinhooking him again, where he sold as a 2YO for $300k.
In the 2024 Tasmania Yearling Sale, I liked a colt by Levendi x Reset dam Hidden Charm. I asked a bloodstock agent to inspect the colt for me and he said quote “He’s too small. Don’t bother.” So I didn’t. The colt sold for $5k and was named Tempt The Gods. He is now a 3yo, had 7 starts and won over $100k, including a Metropolitan win at Flemington.
In the 2025 Inglis Classic Sale, my top selection was a St Marks Basilica x Erin colt presented by Twin Hills Stud. I thought he would fetch around $300k, so I didn’t bother going to the sale. The colt sold for $40k - I immediately took a share and I have very high hopes for him!
